San Francisco Small Business Week Opening Party

The theme for the 20th anniversary of San Francisco Small Business Week (SFSBW) focused on the creative community that built San Francisco from makers to manufacturers. Inside the historic Pier 70 we created a communal, celebratory and vibrant space for exhibitors, vendors, small business owners, investors, mentors, and supporters to witness and honor the artisanal skills of those makers.

This Opening Party set the tone for a week of events that celebrated small businesses in the Bay Area. Our event details amplified the focus on makers, highlighting the industrial beauty of our venue and setting up the marketplace to showcase not only the process behind our exhibitors, but also their beautiful, finished works.
